Lexington Police Investigate Hit & Run; Victim In Serious Condition

Police said a hit and run crash in Lexington was not an accident.

Officers said it happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Harrodsburg and Lane Allen Roads.

According to police, two women, who knew each other, were in separate vehicles arguing.

Investigators said when the first woman pointed a gun at the second woman, the second woman stepped out of her vehicle.

Police said the first driver then intentionally backed into her, and took off.

The victim went to U.K. Hospital in serious condition, according to police.

It was not yet known if arrests were made in the investigation.
