Lexington Police Hope Autopsy Results Will Help Solve Homicide
Lexington Police are hoping autopsy results will help them solve the city’s latest homicide.
Investigators said the body of Douglas Saylor, 66, of Lexington, was found Saturday on the kitchen floor of his home at 674 Elsmere Park.
Police said neighbors discovered Saylor’s body after they hadn’t heard from him for several days and noticed that his car hadn’t moved.
The Fayette County Coroner would not say how Saylor was killed, only that it was a homicide.
Saylor’s body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy to try to determine the cause and manner of death.
