Lexington Police: Drive-Thru Customer Calls In Robbery
Lexington Police said a customer waiting in line at a fast food restaurant called in a robbery Sunday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m. at the Burger King on Clays Mill Road.
Officers said a man walked into the store and jumped over the counter. They said he had a gun and forced at least two employees to go to the back of the store.
According to police, an employee then told the drive-thru customer to call 911.
Officers said the suspect did get away with some cash. He was wearing a black mask, gloves and a dark jacket.
They said no one was hurt.
