Lexington Police Department: 11-year-old girl hurt after shots fired

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Early Saturday morning, police say an 11-year-old girl was in the car with her dad when their car was shot at.

It happened on Mable Lane, officers say, around 2 a.m.

Police say no one was shot but glass from the car window broke hurting the girl.

It was an isolated incident police say, they believe the father was targeted.

Officers are looking for a dark blue Toyota Camry.
