Lexington police arrest man who reportedly punched officer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police arrested a man Saturday morning after he reportedly punched an officer.

Police say 39-year-old Christopher Davis refused to leave Lextran’s transit center when an employee asked him to.

Davis then reportedly punched an officer in the face and ran across the street.

Police say behind the government center they tried to use a taser to get him under control, but it didn’t work so they wrestled with him so they could arrest him.
