Lexington police are searching for a suspect following a domestic dispute

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington police are searching for a suspect following a domestic dispute reported on Christmas Day.

Officers were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 25, to Martin Luther King Boulevard for a reported domestic violence incident. Police say the suspect caused more than $500 in damage to a vehicle and stole the car’s license plates.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

The Lexington Police Department says the investigation is ongoing and officers are actively searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Lexington police.
