Lexington Police and DEA to host National Prescription Take Back Day
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and law enforcement agencies nationwide, is hosting National Prescription Take Back Day on April 27, 2024.

What You Can Dispose Of:
- Prescription and over-the-counter pills
- Vitamins
- Medicated ointments and lotions
- Pet medication
Please Note:
- Liquids, aerosol cans, and needles will not be accepted.
This no-questions-asked disposal event provides a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted or expired medications, helping to prevent drug abuse, theft, and safeguarding our community’s health.
