Lexington Pharmacy Robbed
A Lexington pharmacist was robbed Wednesday morning by a man with a gun.
Police said the suspect walked into the Walgreens pharmacy on Plaudit Place just before 1 a.m. And handed the pharmacist a note demanding prescription drugs.
Police said the man then showed a gun.
He took off after getting an undisclosed amount of medication.
Police said a K9 unit tracked the suspect’s scent to the Audi dealership next door to the pharmacy but the trail ended there, leading them to believe he got in a car that was parked at the dealership.
They don’t believe he stole a car from the dealership.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
