Lexington pet store trying to track down stolen baby lovebird

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington pet store hopes a Facebook post will help get one of its baby lovebirds back.

Most Valuable Pets posted a surveillance picture and videos of a man it says took the hand- fed baby bird from its cage and placed it in his pocket before leaving the store.

According to the store, before stealing the lovebird, the man bought a parakeet but used a fake name, address and phone number.

Most Valuable Pets asks people to call the store directly (859) 219-0056 if they have information.
