Lexington PD investigating after shots fired into car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Lexington police officers are trying to find whoever was responsible for firing shots into a car on Winburn Drive Friday morning.

Officers say they responded to a report of criminal mischief at around 8:00 a.m.  Investigators say a woman told them that she heard several shots near her home around midnight.  When she went outside this morning, she told officers that she found her car had been shot.

Police say they found several shell casings that were booked into evidence.

They currently do not have any suspects.
