Lexington has to pay thousands of dollars in sewer overflow fines
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington has to pay almost $60,000 in state and federal sewer fines for overflows in 2017.
According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, the city is working on a $59,000,000 upgrade, but an agreement with state and federal government means the city can be fined $2,000 for every overflow.
