Lexington Parking Garage To Close
The Annex Parking garage in downtown Lexington will close for construction starting Monday at 7 p.m.
The garage will remain closed until late Spring.
The top three levels of the garage were closed in August, when construction began.
Officials said the garage needs some safety repairs, including waterproofing, lighting updates and a new entry/exit system
The project will cost a total of $3.2 million and add 18 to 20 years to the life of the garage, according to officials.
Parking will be available at the Transit Center garage and the courthouse garage, as well as the usual on-street parking spaces.
