Lexington man to be sentenced Thursday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington man accused in a deadly 2024 shooting is set to be sentenced Thursday in Fayette County Court.
Police say Luis Ramos was charged with murder after he shot and killed 24-year-old Daquan Collins on Delaware Avenue last August. Investigators say Collins lived at the home where the shooting took place.
In addition to the murder charge, Ramos also faced two separate misdemeanor counts in a different case.
His sentencing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon in Fayette County Court.
