Lexington man sentenced in child porn case
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man was sentenced to nearly 18-years in federal prison for recording sexual images of a child, according to federal prosecutors. 30-year old Corey Lane Snapp admitted that, on multiple occasions in 2015, he used his cell phone to record sexually explicit images of a child under the age of ten, according to prosecutors. According to the plea agreement, Snapp also sexually molested the child.
Under federal law, Snapp must serve 85-percent of his prison sentence; and once he is released from prison, he must register as a sex offender. He was also ordered to serve a lifetime term of supervised release, according to prosecutors.
