Lexington man identified in deadly crash at Versailles and Red Mile roads
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a man was killed earlier today after being struck by a vehicle in Lexington.
The victim has been identified as Abomakese Byummeh, 46, of Lexington. His death has been ruled an accident, with the cause listed as “multiple blunt force injuries.”
The incident happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Versailles Road and Red Mile Road.
The accident remains under investigation.
