Lexington man charged with rape, theft

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police have arrested a man for raping a woman on New Year’s Eve and stealing from her.

According to court documents, police arrested 23-year-old Austin Sexton for rape against a woman who was physically helpless.

They say he then stole her car and television.

Surveillance footage was key evidence in catching Sexton.
