Lexington man accused of stealing from family while they went to church

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington Police have arrested a man they say broke into a family’s home while they were at church, then stole guns and a truck.

According to police, the family was an acquaintance of 21-year-old Zachery Trussell.

Police say Trussell broke into the home by removing a window air conditioning unit.

They say once inside, he stole nine rifles and a handgun.

They also say he stole a Dodge pickup truck.

Trussell was arrested by state police in Shelby County.
