Lexington man accused of raping teen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man faces rape charges and police say the victim is a teenage girl he met on Facebook.

Court documents say 23-year-old Michael Grigsby began exchanging messages with the then 15-year-old girl on Facebook last year.

Documents go on to say the two agreed to meet up but the girl told Grigsby she would not do anything sexual with him.

When they went back to his home, police say Grigsby raped and sodomized her.

During a police interview, documents say Grigsby admitted to having sex with the girl and knowing she was underage but denied raping her.
