Lexington Man Accused Of $1 Million Investment Fraud
A Lexington man is accused of defrauding another person out of more than $1 million.
Court documents said Kenneth Thomas, 65, promised the victim investment opportunities but investigators said no investments existed.
Documents said the investor wrote 14 checks to Thomas from February 2008 to September 2013.
Thomas is charged with securities fraud and 13 counts of theft by deception.
