Lexington Lions Club get ready for the annual Bluegrass Fair
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWSNOW) — This Thursday, June 6th, the Lexington Lions Club is hosting their 63rd annual Bluegrass Fair.
A fair that is a tradition for many here in Lexington, chairman Mac Ferguson says he’s excited to continue the event into its 63rd year.
“We are the second largest fair in the Commonwealth of Kentucky behind the Kentucky State Fair,” Ferguson said.
Located at Masterson Station Park, the fair opens this Thursday and goes until June 16th. Gates open at 5 pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekends.
Tickets cost $8 and kids six and under get in free.
All of the proceeds from the fair go back to help various community efforts such as blindness, pediatric cancer, hunger and more.
