Lexington inmate fails to return from work release

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington inmate didn’t return from court-ordered work release Tuesday evening, according to the Fayette County Detention Center.

Investigators say 35-year old Bobby Ray Lady left the jail at 7:15 a.m. and was supposed to return at 6:30 p.m., but didn’t return.

Corrections officials say Lady was in jail on a probation violation.
