Lexington inmate fails to return to jail from work release
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An inmate in Lexington didn’t return to jail from a court-ordered work release Monday, according to the jail.
Authorities are looking for 47-year old Robert Wayne Flanery. Jail officials say he was released at 7:30 a.m. and was scheduled to return to jail at 4:30 p.m., but never showed up.
The jail says he was in on assault and not having a registered license plate charges.
He is African-American, 5’3,” 145-pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
