Lexington Humane Struts To Save Animals Saturday

Lexington Humane Society’s fundraising "Mutt Strut" will take over Lexington’s Coldstream Park with plenty of wagging tails and tongues this Saturday, May 17.

The pet-friendly event is a big fundraiser for the humane society, which cares for about 4,500 animals each year, according to LHS.

Participants can save a couple bucks by registering online until Friday at noon. They can also register at the event.

Registration starts at 7:30 am on Saturday. The dog-friendly 2k walk begins at 9 am with an ice cream party to follow. Many local vendors will also be in attendance.

LHS asks that all dogs in attendance must be up-to-date on their Fayette County city license (if applicable) and rabies vaccination.
