Lexington Hotel Robbed At Gunpoint

Police hope surveillance video will lead them to a suspect in a hotel robbery in Lexington.

The robbery happened at the Candlewood Suites at 603 Adcolor Drive just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said the suspect pulled up in a dark SUV, parked in the parking lot then walked into the lobby of the hotel wearing a ski mask and a hoodie.

They said he then pulled a gun on the clerk, who was alone at the time.

Police said he demanded money from the cash drawer and the clerk and after getting it, went back to his vehicle and drove off.
