Lexington home hit by bullets
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington home is struck by bullets.
Police say two women were in the home on Charles Avenue sleeping at 2:30 a.m. Monday, when they awoke thinking someone was breaking in.
They then realized someone was firing shots at their home.
Police say they found 18 shell casings outside the home.
The house was hit at least six times.
A car owned by one of the women was hit once.
No one was hurt.
Police are not sure if the suspects drove by and shot up the house or walked up.
They say they do not have a suspect description.
