Lexington home fire displaces resident, no injuries reported

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington homeowner is displaced after an electrical box caught fire Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews were called just after 2 p.m. to a house on Knightsbridge Lane, where they found flames coming from the home, according to officials. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze and checked the attic for hotspots.

No injuries were reported, but the fire left the homeowner unable to return inside. The fire department says the cause was traced to the home’s electrical box.
