Lexington home damaged by smoke

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department says one homeowner arrived at his home Thursday afternoon to find it on fire.

Firefighters say the fire broke out at the home on La Cross Court at around 12:30 p.m.

The homeowner arrived, saw the fire and called 911.

Firefighters say the home sustained smoke damage on the first and second floors.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
