Lexington Firefighters Injured In Explosion During House Fire
The Lexington Fire Department said three firefighters were injured Thursday afternoon after an explosion at a house on Delmont Drive.
Firefighters said when they arrived, smoke and flames were visible from the basement.
The department said crews went to the basement to check source of fire.
That’s when firefighters said there had been a flashover, which caused an explosion.
The three firefighters suffered minor injuries after the explosion.
It was not yet known how the fire started.
