Lexington Firefighters Help Needy Children Shop For Clothes

More than 80 Lexington Firefighters helped children shop for school clothes today.

It was part of “Shop with a Firefighter.”

Firefighters said school counselors selected 75 students who needed clothes and shoes the most.

Each child was sponsored by an individual or business. They had $100 to spend.

Today’s shopping spree was held at the Wal-Mart in Hamburg.
