Lexington Fire Dept. issues open burning ban

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department has issued an open burning ban for Fayette Co. effective immediately and lasting until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1.

The ban is being issued in response to dangerous fire weather conditions reported by a National Weather Advisory.  Residents are asked to avoid setting any outdoor fires until the ban expires.  This includes burning trash, outdoor cooking, and construction debris fires.
