Lexington Fire Department rescues three cats from fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington firefighters put out a house fire Monday afternoon on Niles Drive. Officials said one person was in the home at the time when the fire started, they were able to get out safely. Firefighters were able to rescue three cats. There was damage to two bedrooms and a hallway.
The Lexington Fire Department says in heat like this crews have to pace themselves.
