Lexington Fire Department rescues cat stuck in tree

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Lexington Fire Department says they came to the rescue for a cat stuck in a tree last week.

After receiving a call for help from its owner, the firefighters showed up to retrieve the cat.

Officials say the cat had been stuck in the tree for more than 24 hours before its rescue.
