Lexington family burned out of home
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington family is displaced after a fire tore through their home on Alamo Drive Friday morning.
The area is between Georgetown Road and I-75, near the Kentucky Horse Park.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, the call came in just after 9:00 a.m.
Two people were able to escape, while a total of six people are without a home right now.
Our ABC36 News Now crew on scene says it appears the the fire burned through the entire structure.
Fire crews say they arrived to flames shooting out of the middle of the mobile home, and that it sustained heavy damage.
The fire department says there were no injuries.
