Lexington Dressage Competitor Talks About Experience
Once more, Lexington lived up to its title as the "Horse Capital of the World", with Kentucky Horse Park hosting the U.S. Dressage Finals this weekend.
"Even if you don’t know all of the specifics going on, you can still appreciate the beauty of the competition," said Jim Koford, a competitor based in Lexington.
Jim competed in the finals for dressage which organizers also referred to as "horse ballet."
Both horses and riders performed a rehearsed series of movements, from memory in the competition which is said to display the highest level of horse training.
