Lexington car crash looked bad, but left people without major injuries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A violent car wreck in Lexington Thursday night looked bad, but didn’t leave anyone seriously hurt.

Police say a SUV and a car collided on Tates Creek Road and Landsdowne Drive before 9 p.m.

According to officers, one driver had to be cut out of a vehicle, but was left with minor injuries. A passenger wasn’t hurt.

The other vehicle flipped onto its roof, but police say that driver wasn’t hurt either.

Inbound Tates Creek Road was closed temporarily because of the crash, but is now open again.
