Shooting in Lexington sends one person to the hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — According to the Lexington Police Department, a man was shot Tuesday afternoon on Bermuda Avenue during a disorder.

Officers say the victim was taken to a hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Police took one suspect into custody.

Officers are asking people who live in the area to check their surveillance camera footage and contact police if they have any information that could help in the case.
