Lexington-Based National Guard Unit Deploying to Africa

        Friends and family are saying goodbye to the most decorated unit in the Kentucky National Guard tonight.

        The Lexington-based unit being is being deployed to the horn of Africa for nine months to help stabilize the region.
        The unit has already completed tours in Iraq and Afghanistan
