Lexington Bar Cancels New Year’s Eve Party With DJ Who Used To Run Revenge Porn Site
Late Monday night, Art Bar’s management sent us a statement informing us the man who used to run a revenge porn web site will not DJ its New Year’s Eve party. Here is the statement:

"Art Bar has reached an agreement & updated the NYE venue rental contract to exclude Hunter Moore. Art Bar apologizes to anyone who was offended by the booking of Hunter Moore by the event promotions company who booked our venue for NYE. Art Bar is banning the future booking of Hunter Moore & taking steps to regulate the booking of future performers brought in by the event promotion companies who book our venue. Art Bar has the upmost respect for the community and their opinions and appreciates all input/suggestions that help us improve our business.

A Facebook page started a few days ago with people planning to protest outside of Art Bar on New Year’s Eve. The page quickly reached more than 2,000 likes.
