Lexington bans e-cigarettes in bars, restaurants

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Officials in Lexington have approved a ban on electronic cigarettes in most indoor workplaces including bars and restaurants.

The Lexington Herald Leader (http://bit.ly/1zoDzEY) reports the Urban County Council unanimously approved the measure on Thursday. It takes effect immediately.

Lexington becomes the eighth community in the state to approve such a ban on e-cigarettes.
