Lexington Art League

The Lexington Art League has an exciting new slate of exhibitions and events in 2019. The first set of exhibitions in our new series will open on January 18, 2019. These will include solo exhibitions by Clay Wainscott (Signature Series), Benjamin Salley, and Susan Deaton. The fourth show is a group exhibition curated by Samantha Simpson, including works by Natalie Baxter, Mike T. Martin, Lori Larusso, and John Norris. Other artists featured in 2019 exhibitions will include Martin Beck, Mia Cinelli, Crimson Duvall, Gary Graham, Robert Morgan, Brandon Smith, Travis Townsend, Lina Tharsing, LaVon Williams, and others. Also, the league is currently accepting exhibition proposals for 2020.

Under this new plan, The Nude and the league’s members exhibition will become rotating, biennial shows which will open in the same annual time slot in November each fall.  Rather than an international call, The Nude will call for artist entries from only Kentucky and surrounding states. The Art League will also continue to host the PRHBTN Exhibition in October.
