LexiCon Gaming Convention In Lexington

LexiCon Gaming Convention started on Friday and will continue until Sunday at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center.

Officials with LexiCon Gaming says this is a first of its kind event for Lexington.

The highlights:

* A wall of over 1000 games to play

* Over 100 events and tournaments to compete in.

* A chance to win an all expense paid trip to Origins Game Fair and compete to be Settlers of Catan US Champion.

* A fundraiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters including free Sunday admission for all BBBS and a new game invented for the convention. All BBBS will leave with a free game courtesy of the Convention and Heartland Publishing.

* Over 50 games released in the last year available including 5 world launches happening at Lexicon.

* A sold out vendor hall with retailers, designers, artists and more.

* So much more: a cosplay contest, miniatures, Rose’s rolling video games, seminars for teachers and educators, etc.
