Lexington Comic and Toy Convention this weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  More than 20,000 people are expected to gather in Lexington this weekend, for the annual Lexington Comic and Toy Convention.

It will feature hundreds of local and nationally known artists, vendors, and exhibitors, and over 70 celebrity guests, including:

• Karen Gillian and three of the doctors from the sci-fi hit “Dr. Who”
• Henry Winkler, the iconic Fonz from “Happy Days”
• Eliza Dushku, an actress known for her roles on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”
• James Marsters, who was in both those shows as well as “Smallville”

There will also be a celebrity Bourbon Q&A, featuring Kentucky Bourbon. (Sorry kids, guests for that panel must be 21 or older)

The main show runs Saturday and Sunday, March 12 & 13. However, some VIP events will happen Friday night! Tickets are already sold out for Friday night’s events.
