LEM declared heat emergency

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Emergency Management has declared a phase 1 heat emergency for Lexington until midnight Thursday.

High temperatures and humidity will combine to create hazardous health conditions for those outdoors for an extended period of time.

They say drink plenty of water and avoid long-term work outdoors if possible.
