Legends announce more than $715K in donations for 2014

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — The Lexington Legends announced this week donations for 2014 totaling more than $715,000.

In its 14-year history, the minor league organization has donated close to $13 million to the region.

Among organizations receiving funds in this year were: Boy Scouts of America Bluegrass Council; Breast Cancer Research and Awareness; St. Joseph Hospital Nursing Scholarship Fund; and United Way of the Bluegrass.
