Leestown Road crash leaves several people injured

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Several people are in the hospital following a serious crash that occurred just before midnight on Leestown Road and Citation Boulevard, near Alexandria Drive.

Police report that multiple individuals from both vehicles were taken to the hospital, with at least one person suffering life-threatening injuries.

The crash resulted in the closure of both inbound and outbound lanes of Leestown Road, as well as parts of Citation Boulevard at Fern Dale Pass and Alexandria Drive at Trailwood Lane.
