LCSO: Man shows up for court under the influence, carrying marijuana

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man showed up to court in London Tuesday afternoon under the influence and carrying marijuana and unopened Suboxone packages, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 41-year old Tommy Miller, of East Bernstadt, admitted he had smoked marijuana before coming to Laurel District Court.

Investigators say when Miller showed up to court, he appeared to be under the influence and deputies detected a strong odor of marijuana on him.

He was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

He was one of three people arrested in the judicial center Tuesday in three separate cases.
