LCSO: Man admits drinking shots before getting behind the wheel

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year old Mathew Dale, of East Bernstadt, was driving a stolen truck with a stolen gun inside when he was pulled over for DUI Monday night.

Deputies say Dale admitted to having six shots of whiskey before getting behind the wheel.

Investigators say he was pulled over after a deputy saw Dale recklessly pull out from the shoulder of the road.
