Lawsuit filed against UPS, GE, and Boeing after deadly Louisville plane crash
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A lawsuit has been filed against UPS, General Electric, and Boeing just three days after the deadly cargo plane crash in Louisville.
According to ABC affiliate WHAS 11 News, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of individuals and businesses affected by the crash. The complaint alleges the crash acted “like a bomb,” igniting more than 220,000 pounds of jet fuel and other combustible materials in nearby areas.
The lawsuit claims the devastation led to multiple deaths, injuries, and extensive property damage throughout the crash zone.
The National Transportation Safety Board continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
