Lawrenceburg man rescued from high water
ANDERSON CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The Anderson News is reporting that a Lawrenceburg man had to be rescued on Hoophole Road early Tuesday morning after his pickup truck stalled in high water.
According to the paper, Josh Bowman was stranded near the Mercer Co. line, and had to climb out of the cab and perch on a toolbox in the truck’s bed.
The paper says firefighters threw him a life jacket, and then had him jump in the water so they could pull him to safety.
The Anderson News says Bowman got out of the situation uninjured.
