Lawrence County School district mourning loss of 7th grader

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lawrence County Public School District is mourning the loss of a seventh-grade student, Angel Evans, who passed away over the weekend.

According to school officials, Evans was a student at Blaine Elementary and a member of the LMS basketball team.

The district has announced that grief counseling services will be available throughout the week to support students and staff during this difficult time.
